Ed Towers is an experienced leader in analytics, AI technology and transformation. He has over 15 years of experience in industry and in regulation at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As Head of Advanced Analytics and Data Science Ed is driving the adoption for advanced technologies to transform the organisations approach to Financial Crime and Consumer Resilience. Ed also co- leads the FCAs adoption of AI and machine learning and the FCAs regulatory strategy on AI. Ed is the FCAs UK representative on the Financial Stability Board (FSB) Financial Innovation group and is the Sponsor of the Digital Regulatory Compliance Forums (DRCF) SupTech work. Prior to the FCA, as a consultant in the financial services Industry, Ed implemented technology solutions for a range of large financial services clients.
